Wow. I sure hope those voters were up to date with the issues.

I thought you had to have a LEGAL residence to register. Does the cardborad box at the corner of 30th and Euclid count? Gotta hand it to the Dems. They usually register dead people and illegal aliens.

I was just talking about this with my dad. he argues that these services are ridiculous. under the thought process that an uninformed vote, is worse than a non-vote. his work wanted to do a service like this, and he refused. he offered to have a service that picked up people who cannot get to the polls. in other words, picking up elderly or handicapped people who want to vote but can't get there. i am not sure there is much of a difference, but i do think there is point in there somewhere. we go so far nowadays to get people to vote, and don't seem all that concerned over whether or not the people who vote have any idea what they are doing. is an uninformed vote really better than a non-vote...it is a tough question. i would argue that a vote by someone in this country has value, regardless of their how informed they are
i think, ultimately people should vote. and it is sad that so many dont or cant. is an uninformed vote really better than a non-vote...it is a tough question. but i would argue that a vote by someone in this country has value, regardless of their how informed they are. so, i am down with these programs that get people to the polls. i also think though, we should be focusing more on informing people. how bout a "cut through the bullcrap" program. these same people hold a meeting that presents facts equally and addresses how the debates, commercials and media bullshit is not really talking enough about the issues. maybe they are...it just seems i always hear about programs getting people to vote, and not much about helping people cast an informed vote...
