I am a senior at USC majoring in Journalism and Political Science and a minor in marketing. I am actively involved in my sorority, Kappa Kappa Gamma, and serve as the Marshal Chairman. Also, I am a member of the USC Marathon Team! I love entertainment news (perez hilton!), fashion, and traveling.

Absente Ballots

So today is election day, and although I am originally from Southern California (Palos Verdes!) I didn't have time to drive home to my designated polling place and face huge lines. I decided to order an absente ballot instead. I filled out my ballot on my own time, and instead of sending it in (i have little faith in the postal system) I decided to take my absente ballot to a local polling place around USC. Because my hometown and USC are in the same county, LA County, I was able to drop off my ballot with pure, line-free ease this morning. I simply walked to the front, turned it in, with no fear that it hadn't been recieved, and continued my day. For anyone who is busy, is in school, or has a demanding job, I strongly recommend this route if your able to!
