Ryan Dietz Bio
Ryan is a senior at Northwestern, and has done extensive work with the school's on-campus television station, Northwestern News Network. In addition to recently winning a College Television Award for Best Newscast, Ryan has also helped NNN win two College Broadcasters awards. He is an avid sports fan and is always glued to football games on Saturday and Sunday.

Conteh Out Vs. OSU, Bacher Probable

The Northwestern injury report just came out, with a surprise on the list. Omar Conteh, who had recently stepped into the starting role after running back Tyrell Sutton went down to a wrist injury, will be out for the Ohio State game with a knee injury.
Sources say that Conteh was in an air-cast and was using crutches on Thursday.
The good news for Northwestern is that quarterback CJ Bacher is listed as probable for Saturday's game. He was sidelined with a hamstring injury and was available to play last week against Minnesota, but Mike Kafka took over and ran for 217 yards in the 24-17 win over the Gophers.

Mike Kafka will start in the place of Northwestern quarterback CJ Bacher when the Wildcats take on Minnesota.
CJ Bacher is available to play if needed, and is dressed and ready to play.
Bacher recently injured his hamstring on a running play against Indiana last week.

Northwestern running back Tyrell Sutton will have surgery following an injury to his wrist during the game against Indiana on Saturday.
A timeline on his return is unknown. He injured the wrist in the third quarter.
Stepping into the starting lineup is Omar Conteh, with Stephen Simmons backing him up.
Northwestern takes on Minnesota at the Metrodome next Saturday.
