A Scottish wanderer in good standing.

The career path chosen by Scottish folk singer Alexi Murdoch seems to fit. The restless, wandering spirit left his native land in the early 90's to study philosophy at Duke. From there he drifted to Los Angeles and pursued his music.

It is "his" music too. Finding record labels unwilling to accept the whole of his vision, Murdoch chose to release his music his way. The result is his 2006 CD "Time Without Consequence." The stunning collection confirms the strength of his convictions.

Radio play may be fleeting for an independent artist, but network television has stepped into the void. Murdoch's work has been featured on "The O.C.," "Prison Break," and the film "Garden State."
